Submit your photography...
In each issue of The Printed Blog, we will feature a number of user provided photographs on a variety of themes. Ideally, you will submit your photographs to us directly on Flicker (http://www.flickr.com/groups/theprintedblog).
- www.flickr.com/groups/newbeginnings - The Printed Blog is a first generation, new media model. Because we are new, and are launching our publication at the beginning of the New Year, we want to see your concept of "A New Beginning."
- www.flickr.com/groups/brighthope - It is no secret that we are facing an economic depression. But at The Printed Blog we are optimists, and hope you are too. We want to see how you find little signs of hope, good, and inspiration in times of desperation.
- www.flickr.com/groups/weirdstrangeunique - This group was formed so that you can feel free to show us your abstract photography. Show us funny, unique, and odd things you have captured with your camera lens, or just anything that you feel is a little... different. Show us what you’ve got!
- www.flickr.com/groups/wildside - At The Printed Blog, we realize that you have to keep in touch with your creativity and sense of adventure. We want to see the wild, imaginative, and, what some might consider "crazy" things that you have done or discovered in the world.
- www.flickr.com/groups/lastnight - Some pretty awesome moments can be captured during a night out on the town. Show us what you did last night!
- www.flickr.com/groups/obamaexperience - The Printed Blog originated in the great city of Chicago, home to our new President-elect Barack Obama. We want to document the significance of his presence in our society, so upload photos of your "Obama Experience" here. Whether you live in Chicago or across the globe – we want to see it.
- www.flickr.com/groups/wheredoyoulive - Our hometown, Chicago, is a beautiful city with a multitude of distinct neighborhoods and elaborate architecture. Whether you live in The Loop or in Rodgers Park, we want to see what you love about where you live.
- www.flickr.com/groups/showoffthatstyle - Style, in this case, will be used as a broad term. Whether you have a unique style of photography or love taking fashion-oriented photos, we want to see them. Self-portraits of your rad digs are also very welcomed. Portraits of others rad digs are very welcomed as well.
- www.flickr.com/groups/cityculture - The Printed Blog wants to see your favorite parts of the city in which you live, visited, and/or dream of living in one fine day, and we want to know what you think makes it unique. We know that people have a love for where they are from. What does Chicago mean to you?
- www.flickr.com/groups/capturemusic - We have a great music scene in Chicago! Have you been to any amazing shows lately and snapped what might be the bands next album cover? We want to see great moments from the concerts you go to, and learn a little more about what music means to you.
- www.flickr.com/groups/goteamgo - The Printed Blog knows that sports are a huge part of daily Chicago life. Show us the love that you – or someone else you have come across – have for your team(s)!
- www.flickr.com/groups/whatdoyoulove - The Printed Blog knows that many people have a wide range of unique hobbies, fascinations, and interests. Whether you are obsessed with the color red or your mailman, we want to see what you love most in life.
