Submit your photography...

In each issue of The Printed Blog, we will feature a number of user provided photographs on a variety of themes. Ideally, you will submit your photographs to us directly on Flicker (http://www.flickr.com/groups/theprintedblog).

You can submit photographs at photos@theprintedblog.com. If you prefer to send us a pre-existing photo from a social network, find us there, and send it. No matter how you provide us with photographs, be certain to include all of the information described below.

Please also get to know our Photography Editor, Whitney Faile . Whitney is a published photographer from the Southwest and she brings a critical eye to selecting the most timely, interesting, and challenging photographs to supplement content in the paper. Contact Whitney ( wfaile@theprintedblog.com) to learn more about what she looks for, or better yet, submit your best photographs, and maybe she’ll make you famous.

Please ensure that your submissions are sufficient resolution to be printed in The Printed Blog; also, you must certify that you have the rights to each photograph. If we do select your photography for an issue of the paper, we will let you know, and you receive attribution. Please ensure that you provide indentifying information as you would like it to appear. If you have any questions, contact Whitney via wfaile@theprintedblog.com.

All Photos should be in JPG format, with a resolution of 150 to 300 dpi, and the smallest dimension should be no less than 500 pixels. Please do not submit to us any content that is not suitable for publication. Photos may be as abstract or literal as you would like. By uploading and submitting your picture to The Printed Blog, you agree to the possibility of having it published if we decide to use it in our publication. If you would like your photo to be chosen for publication, please include some contact information, such as a basic e-mail address where you can be reached, so that we may acquire your name, etc. if we choose it for publication.
